Nottinghamshire Boys Championship

The Nottinghamshire Boys Championship took place at Hollinwell on Tuesday 6th August.

What a treat for the boys to play at one of the Country’s finest courses.

The Championship is split into 2 separate competitions, the Scratch Championship is played over 36 holes for players of a handicap of 9 and under.

The separate Handicap Championship is over 18 holes and is open to players of a handicap of 10 and above.

In the Scratch Championship Kai Krishnan (SOTW) led by 3 with a fabulous 1 under par 71. Hot on his heels was William Psenko  (Sherwood Forest) who shot a fine 74 and in 3rd spot was Ethan Wan (Sherwood Forest) with a 76.

Moving to the afternoon round, Ethan Wan produced a 78 to finish on 154, this was good enough to force a playoff with 1st round leader Kai Krishnan also on 154. The playoff lasted 6 holes with Krishnan prevailing with a birdie.
