MEN'S MATCHPLAY REPORT 2026

NUGC MEN’S & SENIORS MATCHPLAY CHAMPIONSHIP 2026

The Men’s & Seniors Matchplay got underway at Radcliffe on Trent Golf Club on Sat 27th June. Conditions were very hot making it challenging for all the players, with the prospect of playing 72 holes over the weekend for those who progress to the final on Sunday 28th June.

The first-round draw consists of 8 Men’s matches and 8 Seniors matches.

The men’s semi-finals got underway at Radcliffe on Trent golf club on Sunday 28th June. The first semi-finals saw defending champion Jacob Smith (SF) take on local player Steve Brearley (ROT). The second semi-final saw Himesh Patel (SF) and County Captain Dean Reddington (SF).
