Cyril Sellick Memorial Trophy

The prestigious Cyril Sellick Memorial Trophy was played on Sunday 18th August at Chilwell Manor.

It is the oldest Junior County Trophy, first played in 1923.

The competition is a medal with both Handicap and Gross prizes.

The course was in excellent condition and a credit to the Greenstaff, same as it was earlier in the season for the Jack Prescott Open.

Owen Cooper from Oakmere Admirals was victorious with a Nett 64 on countback. Runner Up was Eric Yang from Ruddington Grange with a Nett 64 and in 3rd spot was Alexander Gill also from Ruddington with a Nett 66.

In the Gross prizes the winner was Aaron Morley from Worksop with a Gross 75. Runner up was Thomas Bamford from Norwood Park with a Gross of 76 B9 and in 3rd spot was Millie Marsh from Sherwood Forest with a Gross score of 76.

This is 2nd to last Junior event of 2024, we move onto Wollaton Park on Sunday 8th September for the Henderson Trophy.
