HENDERSON & CARLISLE TROPHY REPORT

There are several prizes on offer the Henderson Scratch salver which was won by Lennon Albans from The Nottinghamshire GC, who shot an impressive 70 gross. In 2nd place was Jorja Newbold from Oakmere Park GC who shot 71 gross and in 3rd place was Owen Rafferty from Worksop GC who shot 74 gross. Moving onto the main Henderson trophy which is for the best Handicap Nett score. This was won by Tom Godwin from The Nottinghamshire GC who shot Nett 66. A picture of Tom with Peter Trotter is below.

In 2nd place was Henry Keeton from Oakmere Park GC who shot Nett 66 and in 3rd place was William Adcock from The Nottinghamshire who shot Nett 67.

In addition to the main event, we award the best Gross score to an U16 player, this was won by Charlie Cooke from Newark GC who shot a 74. The U16 Nett was won by Alexander Gill from Ruddington Grange GC who shot a Nett 68.

This was the last junior competition of 2022; our thanks go to all the players and parents for supporting the events this year.

Special thanks to Wollaton park today for all their hospitality and to the greenkeepers whose presentation of the course was first class.
