In the Men’s final Serlby Park took on local rivals College Pines. Representing Serlby were Steve Fretwell, John Bragger, Mark & Nathan Briggs. Representing College Pines were Martin McCart, Kevin Baxter, Brett Marsden and Jonathan Guest. The finals are played over 36 holes, the standard of the golf was excellent throughout the day.
The result was a fine win to SERLBY PARK GC 7up
In the Mixed final Stanton on the Wolds took on Newark, representing Stanton were Tom Bagshaw, Karen Raynor, Scott Hamilton and Fran Tunnicliffe. Representing Newark was Andy Coupland, Tish Applewhite, Alan Manlow and Eva Gladsby.
The result was a fine win to STANTON ON THE WOLDS GC 2up.
This is the final event of the County calendar and what a perfect venue to finish on. We thank Sherwood Forest and all the other courses that have hosted throughout the year.
