The Jack Prescott Open

The 5th running of the Jack Prescott Open took place at Chilwell Manor GC on Sunday 7th July.

The course was in fantastic condition and a credit to the Greenstaff.

The main competition is a nett competition, but there are gross age prizes as well.

Oakmere Admirals Owen Cooper was victorious in winning the Jack Prescott trophy with a magnificent nett 64. Runner up in the nett was Lucas Hedstrom from Ruddington who shot 66 and in 3rd place was Beeston Fields Callum Deaton who shot Nett 67.

Moving onto the gross prizes, County under 18 player Callum Smith from Worksop won best gross with a 75, in 2nd place was Dan Towle from Sherwood Forest with a gross 90. The under 16 gross winner was Jack Bradley from Oakmere Admirals with a gross 75 and runner up in the under 16 gross was Coxmoor’s Theo Nelson who shot gross 76.
